Black on white

Nothing transforms a pair of white jeans like taking them out of their usual environment and throwing them into a new one. I love the effect this monochromatic look has on the overall style of the outfit. The white jeans no longer feel beachy and summery, but rather chic, thanks to a sleek black blazer and pointed black loafers. But in order to keep things on the casual side, I grounded it all with a thin white tee and kept my hair loose and tossed around. In addition to wearing it at nighttime, I could also see wearing this on a bright fall day to go for coffee. For being a stark combination of black and white, this outfit feels anything but stark; the result is still laid-back and versatile.
